Yarn Along

Every Wednesday I participate in “Yarn Along”, a link-up run by Ginny over at Small Things where we share what we are knitting and reading this week. Head over to the Small Things blog to see what other bloggers are sharing!

Yet another photo of a slowly growing Citron this week, folks. I re-wound the leftover ball of yarn last night, which took ages because it had gotten all tangled. I keep thinking I must only have enough yarn for one more repeat, then I finish the repeat and I still have plenty of yarn left! I don’t mind, since I think I’ll prefer the finished product to be as large as possible, but it does make this a sort of neverending project.

Another book off my to-read pile this week, this one is French Girl Knits by Kristeen Griffin-Grimes.  It was given to me as a gift back in 2013 (I think) which is a shamefully long time ago, but I’m getting inspired by some of the patterns so I’m glad I’m reading it now. The author really loves French culture and Kidsilk Haze. Most of the patterns are lovely, although there are a few that won’t fit my body type. There might be at least one that I can knit with stash yarn, which is even fantastic! Once I finish the book I’ll add it to my Ravelry library and favourite some of the patterns so I don’t forget that I have it next time I go searching for a new project.

I missed posting on Monday, sorry about that, it was just an incredibly busy day. Followed by two very late nights and so far unproductive days. It has been a very unusual week so far. I do have some small completed projects I want to share, so look for those on Friday.
