Short on Time, Long on Winter

I don’t have time to do a proper blog today as I’m working on getting the Ottawa Knitting Guild newsletter out. Instead, I’m going to show you some photos of the winter that has set in for good around here. It was -30C the other day (with NO wind!!) and let me tell you that is the temperature at which you should cover up all exposed skin. -30 means the air hurts when it touches your skin. Luckily its was a little warmer today and so I won’t have to become a hermit. Let’s all think warm thoughts until the sun decides to actually heat the earth again, how does that sound?

I wore ski goggles on my walk to campus on the coldest day. It was absolutely necessary.
