Yesterday was my last day at work before the break, followed by a holiday party in the evening (so much fun!), which left absolutely no time for blogging. Today I’m packing myself and Knightley into my tiny Honda and barreling across the province to my parents’ place, 6 hours away. This is my first time traveling with the cat, so it could get interesting. With all that I only have time today to show off the Christmas tree decoration I finished just in time this week, hanging on my little tree:
The pattern is from 55 Christmas Balls to Knit. I knit this on on 2.5mm needles vs the 2.75mm needles I’ve used before, so it came out a little smaller. I think the colourwork turned out better though, so I will probably continue with the 2.5mm needles in future. I like the idea of making one or two of these a year until I have a whole tree’s worth. A small tree’s worth, anyway.
That is the last of my Christmas knitting, so everything from now until the end of the year is just fun fun fun. Are you done your Christmas knitting, or are you planning on a marathon knitting session this weekend? Either way, I hope you have a great start to the holiday!
