Christmas Knits

The Christmas crafting continues….

The little cork people are korknisse, and the colourwork is a Julekuler Christmas ball. They have both become holiday traditions; this is the third year in a row I’ve knitted both patterns. The korknisse I mostly give away, and the balls I hang on my parents’ tree. Maybe one day I’ll have a whole tree of knitted ornaments. I like these patterns because they are quick, which means I can knit them just when it feels like Christmas and not worry about getting them done before the holiday feeling wears off. I was going to knit more korknisse this year but I don’t have any more corks. I need to make friends with someone who drinks a lot of wine….
